MI-FLEX accessories is a family of installation fitting that have been perfectly designed for use with MI-FLEX 316 and 904 flexible flue liners. When fitted in conjunction together It will make a full system chimney.
General Application
Theses items are to used in conjunction with MI-FLEX Multi fuel flexible flue liner. Building Regulations Document J requires that a flexible flue liner can only be installed completely enclosed inside a masonry chimney. A non-masonry enclosure such as timber or plasterboard boxing in is not acceptable. All items are suitable for use on appliances up to 600 degrees (T600 designation). Suitable for use on Wood, Smokeless coal, Gas and oil.

The Joiner – 125mm is designed for connecting two pieces of multi-fuel liner seamlessly. Note: NOT SUITABLE FOR USE ON GAS LINERS. Joiners are permissible only when the chimney liner length exceeds the maximum available length of flex.

The Joiner – 125mm serves the purpose of linking two segments of multi-fuel liner together. It’s important to note that this joiner is not compatible with gas liners and should only be utilized when the chimney liner length exceeds the available maximum flex length.
Maintenance:
Proper design of the chimney system to allow easy access for sweeping and maintenance is critical. Ensure sweeping is carried out by a competent person. Avoid using chemical cleaners or mild steel tools on stainless steel chimneys. Regular cleaning and inspection, at least once a year, are advised for chimneys serving solid fuel appliances to ensure optimal performance and safety.
